Jeff has worked in the field of education for over three decades. He spent years as an elementary and intermediate classroom teacher in both public and private schools. His focus on later years was on constructivist math, hands-on science and writing which he taught at the middle school level. He also held district positions as staff development specialist and instructional coach, mentoring peers and developing curriculum.
Most recently Jeff’s assignments and focus has been working with gifted-and-talented students, extending student thinking and growth in mathematics, literature and social skills. He has also broadened his academic connection by working on his Ed. D in Education Leadership, teaching as an adjunct professor to graduate students and coaching and instructing student teachers at Hamline University.
During his time as an educator, Jeff has had the opportunity to produce on-line videos for students and peers, direct plays, initiate public speaking programs for students, create and narrate google slide programs and continually perfect his oratory skills for site reading and lectures. In fact, Jeff helped narrate and produce a weekly radio show on men’s issues for KFAI, in Minneapolis for over ten years. Presently, he is narrating and producing audiobooks while extending his expertise to voiceover work for: commercials, promos, e-learning and on-line messaging from his home studio.
